Start Praising Now Devotion
“FUTURE BEGINS NOW!!!
SCRIPTURE: I Peter 1:2-5
2 God the Father has his eye on each of you, and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus. May everything good from God be yours!3 ¶ What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for,
4 including a future in heaven—and the future starts now!
5 God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.

The gifts of Jesus surpasses all gifts. Let’s review the gifts mentioned in I Peter 1:2-5. Here is the list.1.We have the gift of a new life. No longer dead in sin but born again. (verse 3)
2.Life is worth living thanks to Jesus.(verse 3b)
3.We have a future and it starts now in our heart. We know where we are going. Hallelujah.
4.God is keeping watch over us. He will never leave us alone or forsaken.
5.God is preparing to give us healing from our infirmities and make us whole. When pastoring a Baptist church in Bullhead City, Arizona I made a house visit to a lady crippled up and twisted like a pretzel. But her spirit was not twisted, instead she triumphantly whispered, “Pastor the day is coming when my twisted body will stretch out and I will be whole by the touch of Jesus I am starting to sing praises now.”
Today let that be you attitude and let’s praise the Lord for the gift of LIFE WITH A CAPITAL “L”. Amen.”
